Does HVAC Hub require an internet connection?
No, the app works completely offline. All your data is stored locally on your device, so you can access and manage your jobs, inventory, and contracts anywhere — even in areas with poor or no connectivity.
Do I need to create an account to use the app?
No account or sign-in is required. Simply download the app and start using it right away. We designed it this way to protect your privacy and make it as easy as possible to get started.
How do I back up my data?
Currently, all data is stored locally on your device. If you're using iOS, your app data may be included in your iCloud device backup (if enabled in your device settings). We recommend keeping your device backups enabled to prevent data loss.
Can I transfer my data to a new phone?
If you restore your new phone from a backup that includes app data, your HVAC Hub data should transfer automatically. The exact process depends on your device's backup and restore settings.
How do I delete all my data?
You can clear all your data from within the app by going to Settings and selecting 'Clear All Data.' This will permanently delete all jobs, parts inventory, and contracts. You can also uninstall the app to remove all data from your device.
What job statuses are available?
Jobs can be tracked through four statuses: Not Started, En Route, In Progress, and Completed. You can update the status of any job at any time to reflect your current progress.
How do low stock alerts work?
When you add a part to your inventory, you can set a low stock threshold. When your quantity drops below this threshold, the app will display a visual indicator to help you remember to reorder.
